Intellect asked if I could share a little on my take of trying to cure a burnout through a vacation. Being no stranger to burnout, I said 'yes' and shared a little. Would love to hear your thoughts on your take on this topic.
I like what Melissa wrote at the end: "And if you still experience burnout after vacation, even after addressing your personal mindset and behaviours, then consider having a conversation with your manager about your workload. Here’s a tip: instead of approaching them with an open-ended “I’m overworked, please help”, come up with a game plan. Tell them which tasks you’d prefer to be delegated given your existing obligations, duties, and priorities."
